General conditions 2020
The only way to register for the Polimeralia 6th Edition will be from a form published on the official website https://polimeralia.com , which also gives access to one of the places available, to attend the event between 7 and 11 August 2020 in the city of Valencia.
Transport to the event is not included.
There are three different registration methods that can be consulted in the Modalities section.
There is the option to pay in full in a single payment at the time of registration, however there will also be the option to pay with monthly installments.
If you choose to pay with installments, the paid amount will depend on the modality of subscription. The first payment will need to be made at the time of registration to formalize it. The rest of the installments, will be made monthly before the 5th of each month, the last payment being made on June 5, 2020. (First payment in March with the registration, second payment before April 5, third payment before May 5, last payment before June 5)
If at the time of registration any payment has been made, the reservation and the corresponding monthly payments must be paid.
In this case, you will be informed by e-mail of the dates and amounts at the time of registration and a few days before the due date of each monthly payment.
All payments must be made by bank transfer to the account that will be shared to the registered participants within 24 hours after we receive the registration form. Participants must send proof of payment by e-mail within 72 hours of confirmation of registration.
Cancellation and return
In case of cancellation of the reservation, the full amount paid will be refunded if it occurs before April 5, 2020. The amount paid for the reservation (first payment) will not be refunded after this date. From then on, each payment implies the non-refunding of previous payments, that is, in case of cancellation, only the last payment made will be refunded. No refund will be made for cancellations notified after July 5, 2020.
Places will be assigned in strictty on order of registration, on the receipt of the registration form on the website and will be confirmed using the corresponding receipt of payment or transfer. Registrations are nominal and non-transferable, i.e. only the person registered can attend the event, who may not assign and/or sell their place. In case of cancellation, the organization will notify the next person on the waiting list (if any).
In case of non-receipt of proof of payment or transfer, the organization will try to contact the interested party and may cancel the registration, which will be passed on to the next person on the waiting list. If the contact information is imprecise and the registered person cannot be located, the registration will be cancelled, without the possibility of recovering the registration position, and the place will be passed on to the next person on the waiting list, if any.
Recording of the event
According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Regulation (EU) 2016/679 to guarantee the privacy of the attendees and the quality of the courses, video and/or audio recording of the courses will not be allowed during the event. Photography will only be allowed, provided that the persons who appear in the photographs give their consent, or are the owners of the work photographed. The dissemination of the photographs by any means may only be done with the explicit permission of the people who appear in them or are the owners of the photographed work under the exclusive responsibility of the person who took the photograph or disseminated it. Under no circumstances will Polimeralia or its organizers be responsible for any photographs taken during the event.
In particular, and with reference to the processes of the courses given, the public dissemination of the same is totally prohibited, and the organization is not responsible for the non-compliance of these rules. That is to say, no photograph, collection of photographs, video, text or audio that shows the process of creation of the pieces or techniques taught in the courses may be publicly shared by any means, including digital ones (blogs, web pages, social networks, books, magazines…).
Failure to comply with the privacy and dissemination rules may result in expulsion from the event, while forfeiting the right to a refund of the registration fee or compensation of any kind and/or may lead to legal action against the offender.
Occasionally, the organization may make recordings or take photographs of the event for internal use or for publicity of the event itself.
Loss, damage or theft of personal objects
Polimeralia shall not be liable for the loss, damage or theft of cash, tools, personal items or other valuable items, and attendees shall be responsible for their safekeeping for the duration of the event.
Acceptance of conditions
The payment of the registration formalizes the reservation and implies the acceptance of these conditions.
